CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION DECEMBER 2020

NEED MORE INFORMATION ON CURRENT CORONAVIRUS REGULATIONS?

The best place to get information about the most up-to-date regulations and restrictions is on the website of your local city or county government.

The public has been told by the Baden-Württemberg state government that the December rules will be a continuation of the November rules (see below), but with these amendments:

📌Social gatherings are limited to maximum 5 adults from 2 households
(children 14 and under are not counted)
📌Additional mask requirements at work and in factories where distancing isn’t possible
📌Larger stores will be allowed fewer customers at one time
📌Cities will be allowed to ban the use of fireworks on New Year’s Eve

If during the month of December the 7-day infection rate exceeds 200 new cases per 100k population, stricter restrictions may be triggered

CHRISTMAS WEEK EXCEPTIONS 23RD DECEMBER – 1ST JANUARY

🎄Social gatherings of maximum 10 adults from any number of households will be allowed (children 14 and under are not counted)
🎄School holidays will start on the 19th instead of the 22nd as planned (this is being hotly debated – watch for possible changes)
🎄Residents are being asked to reduce contacts to the absolute minimum starting one week before Christmas if you will be having social gatherings over the holidays (a form of isolation before seeing family and friends)
🎄Try to do holiday shopping during non-busy times whenever possible
