Now that we’ve transitioned from our long, hot summer into the chillier autumn, our Activities Planning team has come up with a list of fun holiday events that we would love to see all your smiling faces at!!
We are starting off in October with a Halloween Party for the Mother’s Corner Group. Members with little ones are welcome to join Laura and Mimi for a fun day at the pumpkin festival at Schloss Ludwigsburg on the 28th.
In November we have two amazing specialty dinners planned for you. The first is a North American-style Thanksgiving dinner in member Rachael B’s home for the whole family on the 25th. Then members and one adult guest are also invited to a traditional Goose dinner at a local restaurant for St. Martin’s Day on the 29th.
Whether you prefer turkey or goose, German or North American traditions, members are welcome to join either or both! Space is limited, so RSVP early. If neither appeals to you, we will still be hosting our regular monthly dinner in November as always.
In December we will again be celebrating our annual Christmas dinner and gift exchange, happening on the 11th at The Stäffele in Stuttgart-West. This dinner will take the place of our regular monthly dinner and is for members only. The gift exchange is hilarious and one of the highlights of the year! More details about the menu should be available next month.
Other holiday-themed events being planned include the Frauen helfen Frauen Virtual Giving Tree during Advent time, a Christmas party for Mother’s Corner on December 13th, and our annual Cookie Exchange at Sandra B’s home on December 9th.
